Sharon, Norrine and John Nelson, the heirs to the estate of Prince, want that estate to back out of a deal with TIDAL after the streaming service allegedly lied about streaming data. TMZ reports that their attorney complained about TIDAL with the probate judge in the case in a letter, which said that TIDAL has been “inflating the streaming numbers” for Beyonce’s “Lemonade” and Kanye West’s “The Life of Pablo.” They claim TIDAL increased the numbers by several hundred million, which would increase the royalties to Beyonce and Kanye.

They want the judge to order the estate to back out of a deal that gives TIDAL exclusive streaming rights for an upcoming album of Prince’s unreleased music. They don’t want the estate in the middle of TIDAL’s potential legal issues.
