Jay-Z And Coldplay Perform New Year’s Eve Concert

NME reports that Jay-Z joined Coldplay on stage at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn for New Year’s Eve, just before he created a bar bill of $405,650.

He joined his friend Chris Martin at his band’s “Holiday Party” at the venue, the home of the Brooklyn Nets (the basketball team owned by Jay-Z). Martin also invited his wife Gwyneth Paltrow and their daughter Apple on stage. Jay-Z rapped during “Lost+” from their Prospekt’s March’ EP.

After midnight he performed a 25-song set with ‘Run This Town’, ‘Hovi Baby’, ‘Feelin’ It’, ‘I Just Wanna Love U (Give It To Me)’, ‘Izzo (H.O.V.A.)’, ‘Big Pimpin’, ’99 Problems’, Rick Ross’ ‘3 Kings’, ‘Money Ain’t A Thang’, G.O.O.D Music’s ‘Clique’, ‘Can I Get A…’, ‘La La La (Excuse Me Again)’ and more. Bridget Kelly joined him on several songs and sang Alicia Keys’ part on “Empire State of Mind”.

The guests then went to the VIP bar called The Vault which had a wall made from hundreds of bottles of Armand de Brignac Brut Gold, each worth over $486. There was also a special 30-liter bottle of cahmpagne which was over four feet tall and weighed 100kg.

Guests included Beyonce, Gwyneth Paltrow, Cheryl Cole and boyfriend Tre Holloway, Christina Aguilera, Taylor Swift and One Direction’s Harry Styles.
