As we’ve previously reported, Meek Mill is currently in the middle of a 2-to-4-year prison sentence for a probation violation, tied to a 2008 drugs/weapons conviction. TMZ reports that the situation is now worse for the rapper as his bail request was denied. Judge Genece Brinkley said that Mill is a “flight risk” and “a danger to the community.” She also questioned his recent clean drug tests, hinting that he might have used something called “Fast Flush” to get drugs out of his system. She also claimed that he might have lied to police and his probation officer about his address.

His lawyer has denied that claim, saying that the address Mill provided is the same as on his driver’s license. Mill was attempting to get bail pending an appeal for the prison sentence. The legal team still claims that Brinkley is biased against Mill because he wouldn’t change managers or give her a shout-out in a Boyz II Men remix. Attorney Joe Tacopina said her decision “continues her long pattern of unfair treatment” of Mill. They plan to appeal the decision.
