Judge Denies Suge Knight’s Request to Dismiss Court Orders Allowing Eavesdropping, More

Suge Knight

A judge has denied a request by Suge Knight’s lawyers to throw out court orders allowing eavesdropping by police and limiting his jail visits. TMZ reports that Knight’s lawyers asked the judge in his case to toss the court orders because Knight claimed prosecutors and the Sheriff’s Department have used the orders to eavesdrop on his conversations with his lawyers. Knight was asking the orders to be thrown out because the judge who issued them later recused himself from the case.

Knight is awaiting trial for second-degree murder in the case of Terry Carter, who died when Knight ran him over during an incident in 2015. The trial is set to begin next week.
