Kendrick Lamar Will Perform At the Grammy Awards

Billboard reports that Kendrick Lamar, Sam Smith and U2 have all been added to the list of performers for the 60th annual Grammy Awards. The event happens on January 28 at Madison Square Garden in New York City. Lamar will open the show. He’s also up for seven awards, including album of the year.

Meanwhile, Elton John, who will get the 2018 President’s Merit Award, will be joined by Miley Cyrus. He will also be celebrated two nights later with writing partner Bernie Taupin for Elton John: I’m Still Standing –A Grammy Salute. That airs later this year on CBS.

Other performers this year include Alessia Cara, Cardi B, Childish Gambino, Daddy Yankee, Luis Fonsi, Kesha, Khalid, Lady Gaga, Little Big Town, Logic, Patti LuPone, Bruno Mars, Pink, Ben Platt and SZA. The ceremony airs on CBS at 7:30 PM ET.
