January 7, 2017 | Posted by Jeffrey Harris

TMZ has a new report on the ongoing legal dispute between rapper Lil Wayne and Birdman. Lil Wayne reportedly claimed Birdman was lying when he said that Tha Carter V was coming out soon.

According to sources close to Lil Wayne, the rapper believes Birdman needs to stop talking about the album and start paying him. Recently, there’s been very little movement in their ongoing legal dispute. Wayne’s camp is also claiming that Birdman is trying to come off looking like a nice guy by saying he wants to settle their issues and his $51 million lawsuit. Until that happens, nothing will change between the two. Also, Wayne reportedly holds the master recording of the album.

Additionally, Birdman recently met with Universal Music Group to try and hash out a deal that could resolve the issues with Lil Wayne.
