Country star Luke Bryan will join Katy Perry at the judges’ table for ABC’s American Idol reboot. Variety reports that the show has signed Bryan, one of the top country stars on radio today, as the second judge for the show with only a week to go before Audition Week.

The person who will join Bryan and Perty at the table is not yet known. Sources inside the show say that ABC’s reboot of the popular singing competition show will stick with the three-judge panel format instead of going for four. Lionel Richie, Charlie Puth and Keith Urban are no longer in the running for a slot.

The show has been running open call auditions since the middle of August, though next week will be the first in front of the judges. A casting announcement is expected to be announced imminently. Idol premieres shortly after the Oscars’ March 4th date, though a specific date or timeslot have yet to be revealed.

Bryan has sold over 7 million albums and 27 million singles worldwide. His last studio album, 2016’s Kill the Lights, went double platinum.
