The feud between Machine Gun Kelly and Eminem is still simmering, although MGK claims that he tried to squash part of it years ago. In an interview with New York City radio show “The Breakfast Club” on Power 105.1 FM (via Cleveland.com), Kelly claimed he called Eminem’s manager in 2012 for making a tweet about how his daughter, who was sixteen at the time, was hot. Here are highlights:

On the comment about Eminem’s daughter: “Look, I’m a father. I didn’t know how old she was. All the headline said was this person we had only known through records was all grown up. I’m a father. I get it. Man to man, I apologized. I took the tweet down…We’re talking about the same guy who s**** on dead people, Christopher Reeves in a wheelchair. It’s a silly comment to start all of this.”

On how that affected his career: “Eminem is Interscope. Machine Gun Kelly is Interscope. I have my loyalists and he has his loyalists…The problem comes when people who are assigned to work for me aren’t working and they’re picking sides.”

On if he’ll respond to Eminem’s “Killshot”: “I had something ready. I heard [“Killshot”] and I put it back in the holster The legend just got punched in the mouth. Everyone wants to tune in. Everyone wants to see Rocky’s last movie.”
