Master P is the latest music industry figure to come forward and speak out regarding the controversy swirling around R. Kelly following the airing of Lifetime’s Surviving R. Kelly documentary. The documentary featured several shocking revelations, including one of Kelly’s former back-up dancers claiming she saw Kelly having sex with a 15 year old Aaliyah, several women claiming Kelly locked them in rooms and treated them as sex slaves, that Kelly had sex with minors, that he didn’t allow girls to stay in contact with their families, and more.

Despite all the allegations against Kelly, though, Master P thinks the people to blame are the parents of the victims, adding that the documentary was a “reality show.” He also said he would physically harm anyone who hurt his child.

“The truth is, I don’t like the parents. If you somebody daddy and they got your daughter. Y’all know, I’m not going to be on no reality show or Lifetime. I’m going to be on CNN, straight up! It’s about to get real. I’m not about to play with nobody. I’m gonna burn it down!”

In a second post, Master P continued to blame the parents, adding that it’s not his place to judge if R. Kelly “did it or not.”

“You shouldn’t have been on TV if you’re a parent unless you’re on CNN from a jail cell. So I don’t know if R. Kelly did it or not, that’s none of my business. I’m not judging, I’m just saying those parents shouldn’t have let it go that far.”
