Meek Mill Officially Files To Get Prison Sentence Dropped, Wants Out Of Solitary

Meek Mill

As we previously reported, Meek Mill was sentenced to 2-4 years in prison for a probation violation, although he’s since asked the judge to recuse herself from the cast and the FBI is investigating. Now TMZ reports that Mill has filed official documents yesterday in Pennsylvania to get his release from prison and wants his probation terminated.

He claims that his prison sentence is due to a vendetta against him by Judge Genece Brinkley, which they also claimed when they tried to get her removed from the case. His legal team said the two incidents which sparked his probation violations ended with the charges getting dismissed. Mill’s probation officer has stated in a testimony that Meek has “responded well” to his probation. Meek thinks the probation should be removed because he’s more grown up now, is a responsible father and got a job and has “generally been rehabilitated.” He wants to be granted time served.
