TMZ reports that one alleged victim of R. Kelly and families of two other apparent victims spoke this week about going to Chicago prosecutors to present evidence to potentially prosecute him for sexual abuse and other crimes. This comes after news that Kelly is under criminal investigation in Georgia, that his manager is also under investigation, and that an arrest warrant is out for his former manager.

This effort was reportedly spearheaded by a family member of one of the alleged victims. He’s reportedly put together a packet of evidence that will be given to the Cook County State Attorney. Previously, State Attorney Kim Foxx said that she was “sickened” by the content of the Lifetime docuseries, Surviving R. Kelly. Also, she requested that anyone who was a victim of the singer to come forward.

The report also indicates an attorney for an alleged victim plans to contact authorities on behalf of her female client. The efforts are looking to find other victims who would join a “united front” before a case is presented to a state attorney.

Currently, two women who were subjects in the documentary, Joycelyn Savage and Azriel Clary, are said to still be living with R. Kelly. Additionally, they are said to be hiring lawyers to try and stop their parents from trying to reclaim them and get them out of R. Kellys home. The parents are claiming R. Kelly has brainwashed them.
