R. Kelly is likely taking a financial hit as more artists pull their songs with him from streaming services, but TMZ reports that his focus is on filing a lawsuit against Lifetime over Surviving R. Kelly.

Kelly reportedly has dismissed artists like Celine Dion, Lady Gaga, and Ciara as “phonies” for pulling their collaborations with him from streaming services, but he is much more angry over the documentary that he thinks featured “lies” about him. Kelly’s lawyer had already sent a cease and desist letter to Lifetime before the documentary aired in hopes of stopping the premiere, but Lifetime aired it anyway.

Kelly has since been meeting daily with his lawyers on legal strategy against Lifetime, as well as how to dig up dirt against the executives at Lifetime as a way to get his revenge.

This follows news that RCA/Sony has pulled financial support for all of R. Kelly’s projects, and Kelly is still under criminal investigation in Georgia.
