Dateline NBC (h/t TooFab) did a story on the R. Kelly scandal on Friday and featured one of Kelly’s alleged victims, Jerhonda Pace, claiming she still has a 10-year-old t-shirt with Kelly’s DNA on it. Pace said that during one of her sexual encounters with Kelly, he spat on her, and she wiped it off her using the t-shirt, and that the t-shirt also contains samples of Kelly’s semen.

“After [Kelly] had spit on me, I wiped it off…I wiped it off with my t-shirt,” she said.

The Olympia Fields Illinois police department has reportedly spoken to Pace and collected evidence from her, but did not confirm that one of those items is the t-shirt she talked about.

The show also featured another one of Kelly’s accusers, Tracy Sampson, speaking out for the first time. She interned for Kelly in 1999 and claimed that she started a two year relationship with Kelly when she was 16. She said she initially thought Kelly was a “creep” and that he made her “uncomfortable” when he would do things like suggest they sit in the same chair. She was usually accompanied by her boss at her initial meetings with Kelly, but eventually Kelly invited her to the studio without her boss, and he asked if he could kiss her. She said no, but agreed to give him a hug, and he began kissing her anyway as they hugged. This led to making out, and she eventually noticed that he was “pleasuring himself” as they made out, prompting her to leave the studio. Kelly continued to pursue Sampson, though, and they did eventually start a sexual relationship, in which she claims that Kelly would tell her to say her age out loud while they had sex.

“While we were having sex and he was getting to that point, he’s like, ‘Tell Daddy how old you are,'” Sampson said. “And that was like something he always wanted me to do.”

Sampson continued that Kelly eventually told her he wanted to have a threesome with her and brought in a naked woman.

“I was in love with him. I just didn’t know what to do. Like, I didn’t know if this was normal,” she said. “I didn’t know if this is how adults acted. Like, I — I just didn’t know. I didn’t know.”

She finally ended things with Kelly when she was 18 and filed a lawsuit against him, leading to Kelly eventually settling out of court with her for $250,000.

Kelly’s lawyer, Steven Greenberg, also appeared on the show and said there is no evidence that Kelly did any of the crimes he is being accused of, that he never had sex with underage women, and that all of the accusers are lying.

“I deal with facts,” he said. “There is no evidence…There’s not ‘all these women’. There’s a few women who are making these allegations for which there’s no proof.”

He went on that these lies have had a very negative impact on Kelly.

“The record companies are abandoning him,” Greenberg said. “Other artists are all of a sudden acting like they’re shocked by these rumors that are floating around. He’s having a very difficult time. But he is strong, he’s tough. He wants to put out his music and continue performing for people. And I expect that’s what he’ll be able to do.”

Kelly reportedly plans to go after Lifetime over the Surviving R. Kelly documentary which thrust his controversial life back into the spotlight.
