TMZ has a report on a plea hearing for rapper Tekashi69 from last week, and the rapper is reportedly working on a deal where he would plead guilty to nine counts of racketeering, conspiracy, firearms offenses and narcotics trafficking in his federal indictment.

In a transcript from the plea hearing, he reveals how he got involved in criminal activity with the Nine Trey Bloods in the fall of 2017. Also in March 2018, he admitted to helping members of the gang kill a rival to “increase my own standing in Nine Trey.” Also he stated that other gang members robbed a rival at gunpoint last April.

He also admitted involvement in the Chief Keef shooting, saying while in court, “I paid a person to shoot at a rival member of Nine Trey to scare him. The shooting took place in Manhattan. I did this to maintain or increase my own standing in Nine Trey.” According to Tekashi69, another gang members was the one who pulled the trigger. Last December, it was reported that police were reviewing the shooting after Tekashi69 apparently implicated himself on tape.

Tekashi69 also admitted to selling a kilo of heroin in 2017. He apologized in court, stating, “I apologize to the Court, to anyone who was hurt, to my family, friends and fans for what I have done and who I have let down.”

The rapper’s plea deal is going to likely give him a reduced sentence in return for ongoing cooperation. The minimum sentence he faces is 47 years. However, the prosecution will likely ask for a significantly reduced sentence to encourage continued cooperation from Tekashi. The report indicates that Tekashi continuing to offer up more information could increase the likelihood someone might try to silence him from talking.

Tekashi was previously indicted last November.
