To finish off our Album Of The Year countdown, we present the list re-ordered by genre to help you find the artists and albums you may have missed, but might well enjoy.

Our genre classification is extremely vague by design, so don’t worry, we are aware that a lot of hardcore bands are grouped in with metal and the indie genre consumes a whole host of sub genres. It’s just a rough guide.
