The Game Sues Viacom For $20 Million Over Sexual Assault Lawsuit

The Game has filed a lawsuit against Viacom for $20 million over his own sexual assault lawsuit loss. TMZ reports that the rapper has sued Viacom, the parent company of VH1, for casting Priscilla Rainey in his reality show She’s Got Game. Rainey later filed a lawsuit against Game after being kicked off the show, claiming he sexually assaulted her at an unfilmed outing.

According to Game’s lawsuit, Viacom cast Rainey despite warning signs suggesting that she would be a problem. It alleges that a doctor working on the show recommended that Rainey not be cast, noting that she had a history of past crimes including several felony arrests for aggravated battery. The documents claim that the doctor said, “In moments of jealousy, [Rainey’s] normal composure dissolves, leaving her to acting out of control.” They say that Viacom thought Rainey would be good for ratings and thus ignored the doctor’s recommendation.

Game lost a $7.1 million judgment against Rainey in her lawsuit. He claims Viacom should pay that, along with an additional $13 million in damages.
