TMZ reports that during a concert at the Apollo Theater in New York, U2 dedicated a song to Anthony Bourdain, who passed away last week. The show was invitation-only. Bono spoke about the deaths of Bourdain, Kate Spade and other musicians in the past year.

He said: “Music lost some great people who gave up on their own life, and that makes it kinda harder. Fashion and now this great storyteller, who I’m sure had stories he couldn’t tell us.

The band performed their 2000 song “Stuck in a Moment,” a track originally written about INXS lead singer Michael Hutchence, who committed suicide in 1997.
