Non-Title Match: NXT North American Champion Adam Cole vs. Danny Burch

Burch finally gets to come out to Oney’s theme. Burch starts hot, throwing in a northern lights suplex while he chain grapples Cole. Cole responds with a right hand and headlock takeover. Burch gets in his own strike as the fight moves outside. Cole delivers a swinging neckbreaker there and looks for a countout win. Burch beats the count but eats another neckbreaker for two. Cole adds a snap suplex and talks trash the entire time. As he works a chinlock, he says Danny’s not in his league. Danny gets up to fight free but is met with a bicycle kick. Danny uses a jawbreaker to stop COle’s momentum. He fires off some chops and nails a Thez press. Missile dropkick by Burch and Cole is reeling. He gets two on a clothesline and goes right into a crossface. Cole escapes and eats an uppercut. Headbutt flattens Cole. Tower of London for a near fall. Cole knees out of a suplex. He hits some kicks of his own, followed by USHIGOROSHI for two. Cole hits a LOUD superkick and adds the brainbuster on the knee. He exposes the knee and finishes with the Last Shot

Winner: Adam Cole in 8:49 [***]

Earlier today, Candice LeRae was interviewed about being a step closer to the Women’s Title. Before she can say much, she spots Shayna Baszler. She tells her that she heard what Shayna said about her. Shayna tells her to stick to being acute little sidekick. Candice slaps her and Shayna shoves her, leading to a brawl. Officials and wrestlers pull them apart.

Cathy Kelley interviews Dakota Kai about Shayna’s words last week. Dakota heard them and says Shayna will see her again soon because she’s working her way back to another title shot. Lacey Evans interrupts to say nobody cares. She claims that Dakota would bring the title down. The division needs a lady with class and confidence, which Dakota doesn’t have. Dakota offers to kick the class off her face next week.

Kairi Sane vs. Vanessa Borne

This has been brewing for a few weeks. Borne takes Sane to the corner and doesn’t give a clean break. Sane turns the tide and fakes a non-clean break, only to pluck her on the forehead. Borne takes her down, but Kairi catches a kick and hits a dragon screw. Rolling attack for one. Ankle lock of sorts by Sane but Borne gets to the ropes. Borne turns the tide and works the arm a bit. She hits an impressive twisting suplex for two. Borne hangs Sane in the ropes upside down and kicks away. Inside, she adds an elbow drop. Borne wastes time posing and it opens the door for a Kairi rally. Somersault neck whip and headscissors takeover by Sane. She hits the Interceptor Spear and begins walking the plank for the sliding D. As Kairi goes up top, Borne greets her with a headbutt. She’s slammed from the top. Kairi responds with a spinning back fist. There’s a close near fall before Kairi wins with the Anchor, which is a very deep half crab.

Winner: Kairi Sane in 5:50 [**1/2]

Post-match, Kairi gets on the microphone. She knows Shayna is strong, but she’s beaten her before and she’s going to do it again. That leads to an “again” chant and she throws forearms along with it. Kairi is coming for the treasure that is the Women’s Title.

Next week, Bianca Bleair, Nikki Cross, Candice LeRae, and Kairi Sane meet in a four way to determine the number one contender for Shayna Baszler.

Alesiter Black is interviewed outside about having to face Tommaso Ciampa in two weeks. Before he gets out a full answer, Johnny Gargano comes up to him. Gargano says Ciampa cannot be the NXT Champion. Black just nods and walks away. Gargano stops him to say Ciampa can’t win. Black says he understands, but that he’ll handle it and Johnny should worry about his own stuff. Johnny says he knows what he’s doing. Black enters the building to address the fans, only to get jumped by Ciampa. Ciampa drapes him on a table and drops him with the DDT that ended Gargano at TakeOver.

NXT Tag Team Championship: Mustache Mountain [c] vs. The Undisputed Era

Their match during the UK Tournament was a banger (****). Undisputed attack as soon as the bell rings. They beat up the champs in opposite corners, but it gets turned around into stereo uppercuts. Fireman’s carry slam by Seven and then Bate slams Strong onto Kyle. Bate hopes off Seven’s shoulders for a dive, then helps Seven with a senton. Undisputed bail outside for a breather. They go right back in and get tossed. They try again, only to get tricked with BOP and BANG. The teams brawl outside until Strong drops Seven’s knee onto the steel steps. Kyle and Roddy isolate Seven and put the target squarely on his knee. Roddy removes his knee brace and stomps on it. Kyle escapes Seven’s grasp with a cartwheel and applies a heel hook. Kyle moves on to dropping his weight on Seven’s leg as the fans go back and forth with chants. Seven counters one into a school boy for a near fall. Roddy gets tagged and sends Seven off the ropes. He gets thrown outside and kicks Roddy away when he’s grabbed.Kyle tries a sneak attack and is dumped out. Seven fights over to Bate and kicks Roddy again. As he gets close to Bate, Kyle pulls Bate off the apron. Submission by Strong. Seven fights out and nails a desperation DDT. As he gets close to tagging, Kyle is tagged and boots Bate off the apron. Another heel hook by Kyle. Seven gets free and finally makes the tag. Bate knocks Kyle outside and nails Roddy with a back body drop. He catches Roddy with a corner knee and diving European. Standing SSP gets two. Kyle comes in and gets put in an airplane spin. Kyle counters into a choke but is backed into the corner. Bate catches Strong with an exploder into Kyle.An official comes out to tend to Seven. Bate does his airplane spin/big swing combo. He picks Roddy up into a deadlift German for two. Bate hits a rolling kick on Kyle but runs into a kick from Roddy. Step up enziguri follows, but Bate hits the rebound clothesline. Tyler Driver connects, only for Kyle to break up the pin. Bate goes for another rebound clothesline, but is caught with a half nelson backbreaker. PK by Kyle gets two. Brainbuster hits for another near fall. Bate fights them off with chops. Roddy accidentally catches Kyle with a shot. Seven’s up and Bate is knocked into him. Seven enters on one foot and fights off both men with chops and uppercuts. Half nelson suplex on Kyle. Seven Star Lariat connects, but Roddy kicks out. Seven wants a burning hammer, but can’t stand with Roddy. Chop block and a sick looking submission on Seven’s leg is applied by Roddy. Bate makes the save with a boot. He looks distraught and heartbroken at the state of Seven. Seven drags himself towards Bate, but Kyle comes off the middle rope with a knee to his injured leg. Heel hook applied and Seven is begging and holding onto the ref in pain. He reaches toward sBate but is puled further away. They trade shots while in the heel hook until Kyle wrenches back. Trent finally escapes with a kick. Kyle’s up first and puts on a double kneebar. Seven is in agony and Bate looks to be in just as much agony. Bate grabs one of the towels they brought out. Seven shouts for him not to do it. Bate struggles with the decision as Seven continues to fight. Bate finally throws the towel in and instantly checks on his buddy.
