Randy Orton Rusev Smackdown

I’m baaaaaaacccckkkk!!!!

Hello all! I’ve been MIA for a few weeks due to a number of reasons. One of them is football. Monday Nights have become an interesting night over at the pub. Aside from that, I’m working on a big project that will be making its debut very soon, y’all. Consider it…the Anti-Watry of columns. Get ready…

Anyways, I’m here to help Larry, as he is a bit under the weather and has been helping me immensely over the past couple of weeks, so let’s get to the blue brand!

We are taken back to two weeks ago where Shane condemned Owens Hell. In. The. Cell. (Yes, he said “the”). Followed by Owens response.

The show starts proper with the angry Canadian. He’s in the middle of the ring with a mic. He says that all he has heard for weeks now is that Shane will do this or that, but he is nowhere. Owens has been called a coward for what he did, for not being here last week. Well, he’s here now, and he’s ready for Shane to take his opportunity. Maybe Shane is the coward. No, he has changed his mind. Shane is no coward; he is a smart man. Last week, Owens said he had nothing but respect for Vince, and he means it. He actually likes Vince, and Shane saw what he did to a man he actually respects and likes, so imagine what he’ll do to someone he doesn’t.

Sami Zayn thinks now is a good time to tell Owens he doesn’t like him either. Sami wants to know what’s wrong with Owens. He’s not out here to fight, he’s out here because Kev has lost complete control. Owens headbutted Vince McMahon! Sami has known him for 15 years, and he knows what happens when Kevin snaps, and it has no end. When Sami saw what he did to Vince, he said that was it – Owens has snapped. Sami is out here against his better judgment trying to talk some sense into Owens. Right now, Owens is about to cross a line where he has never crossed before, and there is no coming back from it. Owens needs to get a grip and stop right now.

Owens says he didn’t snap; he’s cool man. Don’t worry Sami, his family is fine. Sami isn’t here to talk sense, though. No, once again, Owens has outshone Sami as per usual. Sami has been here two years longer, and Owens has won title after title while Sami watched from the back, just like Sami will watch when Owens main events and destroys Shane at Hell in a Cell. Sami thinks owens has gone too far? Just watch HIAC.

What has Sami ever done in his life that ever had as much impact as the impact Owens’ Skull had on Vince’s head?

Sure, he has done everything, but he’s also cheated and taken every corner, and that’s fine because Sami’s day will come and when it does, he’ll do it his way and the right way. So fine, Owens won all these titles that Sami never did but the real difference is when Sami looks himself in the mirror, he doesn’t see a giant piece of trash looking back at him.

Owens drops his mic. Sami does the same.

Daniel Bryan is out to stop this madness. He says Shane is not here right now, and he doesn’t know if he will be here. He knows someone who IS here though, and someone who would love to fight….that’s Sami, and we’re going to see that tonight.

Later tonight, we will see “The Pride of Bulgaria Celebration,” as well as Tye Dillinger vs Baron Corbin.

While AJ is coming out for the following match, Tye takes the opportunity to send Baron out of the ring the hardway.

Match 1: Tye Dillinger vs Baron Corbin

Baron enters the ring eventually, really pissed off. The bell rings and Baron hits a kick. Tye takes advnatage and mounts with some heavy rights. Baron sends him off then pushes him into the corner. Tye fights out iwth some more hard rights, sending Baron down and eventually outside of the ring. Tye follows, chases, and Baron gets back in. Tye hops on the apron and Baron hits an uppercut, then sends him directly into the ring post. Baron leaves the ring and sends Tye into the barricade. Baron sends Tye into the barricade again. Baron finally sends Tye back into the ring. Baron rolls in. He gravs Tye by the jaw and puts him chest first into the corner. Baron with a shoulder to the lower back. Tye with a right, then a left, another. He hits a chop then whips and Baron holds onto the ropes. Kick to the chest followed byt a right sends Tye down hard. Baron with a suplex attempt, but Tye turns it into a rollup. Baron misses a right, so Tye kicks, hits a knee, but Corbin with a chokeslam into a backbreaker. Baron chases outside the ring, bak in. Eats a dropkick. Tye on the second rope. He flies off, Corbin catches by the neck, but Tye escapes. Superkick. Knee to the face! Pin for 1..2….NO!!!

Both men to the outside. Corbin shoves Tye, and dives for an elbow. Tye moves and Baron eats the steps! Tye sends Baron into the ring. He gets a firemans on Baron, but Baron is too big. He flips off then leaves the ring towards the booth. AJ tells Baron “That close” and Baron slaps a cup of water into AJ. Tye leaves the ring and Baron catches him and sends Baron INTO AJ STYLES!!!

Baron enters the ring while Tye and AJ struggle to stand. The ref hits 8. He gets to 9, and Tye is at the apron. Ref hits 10, and that’s all, folks.

Winner: Baron Corbin
Not a bad match. Tye looked pretty damned good.

Baron kicks Tye off the edge of the apron hard. AJ enters the ring fast, and Baron speeds out.

Baron grabs a mic and tells AJ that one on one, AJ can’t beat him. Baron also says that at Hell in a Cell, he wants AJ and he is going to take the title.

We are back after a commercial break and our champion named Jinder is in the middle of the ring. he says that unlike last week, he is going to compliment The Artist. Jinder wants to show us what Shinsuke looked like after hearing his remarks. We get an image of Shinsuke with a super cheesy smile. What strapping man. Jinder is hearing that Shinsuke realizes that Jinder is superior in every way possible, and gave another face. This time, we get shokced Shinsuke. Jinder has one more photo, this time of Shinsuke after he is defeated. The last photo is still that looks like a promo pic until…Shunsuke moves!!! It’s no photo! Shinsuke drops his hands slowly as the crowd chants his name. Shinsuke grins like only he can. Lights go out. Violin starts. Shinsuke is here!!

Jinder sends The Singh Brothers, but Shinsuke takes care of both of them. Jinder is here to attack. He sends Shinsuke into the post. Jinder grabs Shinsuke and sends him into the ring. Jinder’s Willy Wonka hair bounces as he enters the ring. Shinsuke attacks, downs Jinder. Shinsuke gets ready in the corner. Singh brothers are in. Shinsuke takes care of them. He notes Jinder, who is kneed. KINSHASA!!!

The New Day is here to show us how to feel the powwwwaaaaa!

New Day here with some Booty-Os and popcorn.

New Day joins the crowd nearby the announcers to watch the following match.

Is this really only the second match? Crazy

Match 2: The Usos vs The Hype Bros

We start with Mojo and who gets some shoulders in the corner then sends Uso 1 to the outside. Mojo back inside but is met with some kicks and stomps. Tag and Uso 2 hits some stomps. Pin for 1..2..NO! I miss a knee it looked like from Mojo. Tag to Zack, who comes in with a clothesline. He sends Uso 1 off the apron then hits a flapjack. Zack eats an elbow, Mojo gets a right hand. The Usos on the mic towards New Day. They say New Day thinks everything is a game. This is where New Day belongs; right on the side lines. Come Hell in a Cell, they’re lookin at the 5 time WWE champion.s Big E pulls a mic out of the popcorn. hahaha. Kofi says he’s not sure who they’re talking to, but they do talk a big game for two guys who just lost the titles. Big E says they also talk a big game about the penitentary, which makes them think…Woods says it makes them think that they don’t want to just defend these title AT HIAC, they want to defend them IN a HIAC.

We are back to the show, and Aiden English is the Master of Ceremonies for the next segment. He introduces the mayor of Rusev’s hometown, this short man in the ring with a smile and a scroll. Aiden wants us to stand in silence and brings up the 9 second win over Orton.

Aiden sings the National Anthem of Bulgaria while Rusev makes his entrance. Nice, Aiden….nice.

Rusev stands atop a box in the middle of the ring while the mayor reads off the scroll in Bulgarian. It is his honor to present the key to his fair city to their great hero and protector, Rusev. He also proclaims 9/26 Rusev Day.

The Mayor hands the key to Rusev. Rusev speaks his native tongue then says he wants to take this time to relive the great, glorious and historical victory from last week. We get the match in whole. What we just witnessed is the law of the jungle. Orton established himself when he first got here, but now a younger and hungrier predator has come into the jungle, and last week, The Lion of Bulgaria ripped the fangs out of the Viper’s mouth. He destroyed the legend of The Legend Killer. So Smackdown Live is Rusev’s jungle now.

Aiden English has prepared a song in honor of Rusev Day.

Aiden begins his beautiful vocal rendition of “It’s Rusev Day.”

Orton comes from out of nowhere and RKO to Aiden! RKO to Rusev!!!

Backstage, Bryan is on the phone thanking someone for the update. It’s Shane and he is on his way. Sami is here. He tells Bryan to call Shane and ask him not to get involved in the match tonight. Shane has his chance in two weeks. Sami has Kevin tonight.

Backstage, Orton is walking with a smile. He catches Renee, and wants her to tell Rusev if he wants to step inside Orton’s jungle, he’ll see him at Hell in a Cell. Renee politely says yes. Such a nice gal.

So Ellsworth is on a leash.

Match 3: Charlotte Flair vs Carmella

Carmella starts with a shove. Charlotte retaliates with a shove of her own. Carmella shoves the face so Charlotte shoots the legs. She goes for the Figure Four, but Carmella kicks Charlotte. Charlotte goes to the 2nd rope and looks to hop off but Ellsworth grabs her leg and Carmella is able to flip up and take Charlotte off the top rope. Carmella sends Charlotte into the corner. Carmella moonwalks back and mocks the strut. Carmella runs right into a clothesline. She’s rtight up, mnisses one of her own, and gets chopped over and over. Charlotte with a kick to the ass. Nattie is out to say how happy she is that Ric is recovering. Nothing makes her happier than knowing that Ric gets to watch his overrated daughter fail. Wooo!

Dolph Ziggler has officially pissed me off by coming out to The Undertaker’s music and making me think, for even a split second, that The Dead Man had returned. I don’t hate Dolph and I don’t hate this because it’s disrespectful; it’s just not smart. This gimmick is dumb for so many reasons that I don’t even want to get into here, but suffice to say; I’m done with it and him.

Anyway, Dolphtaker grabs a mic and wants to know what we’re all so upset about. We look like we’ve seen a ghost. YOU SUCK chant. Dolph says he is sorry, because we see a Deadman walking. Dolph mocks Taker a bit. Anyone can fake being a zombie, but no one can do what he does in this ring.

The lights go out.

GLORIOUS!!!

Booby Roode is here, and he’s happy as ever. Dolph stares a hole right through him. He tells Dolph that he is an amazing talent; an incredible in-ring competitor, but he is also a hypocrite. For a guy who doesn’t care what others care, he spends a lot of time telling people. Roode says they’re a lot alike, they both demand respect. Dolph claims to be one of the greatest. Roode wants Dolph to back up this claim. How about Roode and Ziggler at Hell in a Cell?

Dolph hits a checklist. Flashy robe? Elaborate entrance. Check. Skills on par with Dolph? Not so much…

Roode is everything that is wrong with the WWE, and he wants a match with Ziggler? Ok, Ziggler is down.

Spoiler alert: anyone that steps foot in the ring with Ziggler, they Rest….in…..

Roode covers the mouth of Ziggler. Hell in a Cell is going to be absolutely……GLORIOUS.

Match 4: Kevin Owens vs Sami Zayn

They go right at it as per usual. Sami gets the upperhand, whips, reversed, and Owens hits a back elbow. Kick to the spine. Another. Owens grabs the head and hits a short clothesline then hits another one in the corner. Sami rolls out of the ring. Owens grabs the head of Sami on the otuside and sends him into the barricade. Stomps to Sami over and over. Owens sends Sami back into the ring. He hits the ropes. Clothesline from Sami!!!

Shane McMahon is at the arena.

Back from a break, and Sami is sending owens back into the ring. Sami is up on the top rope. He dives, Owens scoots in, Sami rolls through, SUPERKICK from Owens! Pin for 1..2..NO! Owens grabs Sami, sets up for a package powerbomb, but Sami escapes, chops the chest, walks the ropes, and hits a DDT! Sami in the corner. He wants the kick. OWENS WITH ANOTHER SUPERKICK!!! Owens ends Sami into the ropes. Goes for Pop Up. Sami escapes. Blue Thunder Bomb! Pin for 1..2..NO!!! Sami up in the corner yet again. He rsuhes forward. Goes for the kick. Owens rolls out of the ring! Sami hits the ropes. Plancha over the top rope! Sami rolls into the ring with Owens, but Owens escapes. Sami looks for the DDT through the ropes, but Owens hits a superkick!!! He grabs Sami.

POWERBOMB TO THE APRON! Charles Robinson calls for the end of the match.

Winner via TKO: Kevin Owens

Owens grabs Sami by the hair of his chinny chin chin. The ref backs him up. Some EMTs come to check on Sami as Owens watches, seated on the announce table. Sami is able to stand and tries to fight off the EMT.

Owens contemplates a bit. Then he rushes off the table and runs towards Sami as he is being walked towards the ramp. Owens attacks from behind! Owens grabs a chair from the timekeeper’s area. He heads back over to Sami. Owens locks Sami’s head into the chair. He looks to ram Sami into the ringpost.

Shane’s music hits. He’s at the top of the ramp. Owens: “COME ON MOTHER FUCKER!”

Sami still has the chair locked around Sami’s head. Shane runs down the ramp. Owens shoves Sami into Shane! The leg hits Shane right in the face! Owens hightails it into the crowd.

End Show.
