Zack Ryder vs. Wade Barrett:   They lock up and tumble on the ropes and Barrett gives the clean break. They trade armlocks and Barrett segues into a front facelock. Ryder comes back with an armdrag and works the armbar. Zack reverses into a wringer but Barrett punches him in the face to break. He roughs him up in the corner but Ryder comes back with a tip-over into another armdrag. Barrett retreats to the ropes and sneaks in an elbow to take over; he plants Ryder with a shoulderblock but he quickly comes back with a flapjack and dropkick. They battle on the floor and Ryder has the advantage as we head off to break. We return with Barrett firmly in control but Zack comes back again but Barrett catches him on the top rope and boots him all of the way to the floor. He tosses Ryder into the apron a few times and back into the ring, for two. Wade locks in a reverse chinlock. He catches him with a savate kick and pump-handle slam, for two more. Barrett celebrates and gives another kick for two more. He applies a chinlock but Barrett comes back with a faceplant. Ryder hits the running forearm to the face but the Broski Boot is countered via backdrop onto the apron. Ryder manages a Broski Boot from the apron but merely gets two. Quite the competitive match for Ryder here; Barrett counters the Rough Ryder and nails Zack with the Bull Hammer for the three.   5/10 We all knew who was winning here but the ride to get there was actually well built. Good match for Ryder and Barrett looked good too; unfortunately Ryder has become a total jobber and I’ve given up completely on him in the WWE at this point.

Here is your winner… Wade Barrett via Bull Hammer pinfall

We recap Raw with highlights from the opening promo involving all the members of the MitB “All Star” match leading into the Kane/Randy Orton match. For my full recap of Raw: click here.

Natalya Neidhart (w/Eva Marie) vs. Naomi (w/Cameron):   I’m sure there is some kind of backstory here from E!’s Total Divas but I don’t know what it is. A lockup leads to a side headlock; Nattie reverses and counters and they go through some more mat work. She hits the ropes and plows Naomi with a shoulderblock. Naomi comes back with a split-legged dropdown into the Rear View for two. Nattie tries the Sharpshooter but it is countered; she segues into a front facelock and then a Davey Boy Suplex, for two. She locks on the (now) rarely seen abdominal stretch. That move is dying as a rest hold. Naomi comes back with a one-footed dropkick and she tumbles to the floor. Eva is waiting to offer some kind of advice as Nattie cautiously reenters. Naomi holds the ropes and then offers a handshake… right into a schoolgirl, for two. A low dropkick keeps the advantage to the Funkadactyl. A flipping lariat and a lassoing head scissors gets two more. Naomi looks like she is out of moves so she tries an enziguri but gets entangled in a Sharpshooter for the submission.   4/10 Good, Nattie won; nothing against Cameron or Naomi but I love Harts. Decent match.

We conclude with Mark Henry messing up the John Cena/Alberto Del Rio main event of Raw.

OVERALL 4/10   Average show this week; a squash and a pretty good divas match. Not too bad.
