411’s WWE Velocity Report

March 4, 2006 | Posted by Scott Fried

This weekend’s Velocity is dedicated to the WWE Hall of Fame.

Clips of past inductions are shown. They’re followed by behind the scenes clips from last year’s Hall of Fame ceremony are played. Worth watching, with funny stuff from Bobby Heenan and Roddy Piper, plus Bob Orton giving some information on the current status of his arm. Plus, Kane halfway out of character.

Clips from last year’s Hall of Fame ceremony are shown, in which Hulk Hogan and Roddy Piper were inducted. The simple fact that Hogan’s going to be there this year means we’ll hear more of that “One More Match” crap.

A new Bret Hart clip package airs. This is followed by clips from his DVD in which he discusses his first World Title win.

Eddie Guerrero’s induction video is shown. Afterwards, Josh Mathews and Steve Romero introduce the backstage footage from right after his title win. This leads into the section from his DVD in which Eddie and Vickie Guerrero talk about his WrestleMania XX main event match and his celebration with Chris Benoit.

A nice show with a lot of great footage. I’m really glad they’re inducting Eddie, and seeing Bret again will be terrific.
