Yeah so… I spilled milk all over my floor when the show started. Didn’t miss much, so we’ll go with what we’ve got here…

Shane and Steph are out. Talk up Austin. Regal is introduced as the newest member of the Alliance. Regal talks up then introduces Austin.

Ahem… okay… lets roll…

Austin is out, and says he’s a bit emotional tonight. Austin says that Angle probably wants a rematch, but Austin says it’s over. Um… here’s Linda McMahon. I was hoping for Vince or Mick or someone… but she usually delivers good news… in a monotone sorta way. She says that it’s far from over, and tonight is a whole new beginning. Linda fires Regal as WWF Commish. Ohhhh we get a new Commish. Crowd is chanting for Foley. Angle jumps the Alliance from behind. Um… is he the new Commish or something? I’m lost… Angle cleans house…

Commercials… wow… a Battlebots game… I think I’m gonna be sick…

MOMENTS AGO!!!!!!!!!!

Steph, Shane, and Regal bitch, and wonder who the new WWF Commish is… all right… not Angle. Didn’t think so…

WWF Tag Title Match
The Dudley Boyz w/Legs Vs Spike & Show
Bubba and Big Show are in to start the match off. Show lands a hip toss, and continues to dominate. Show misses an elbow and tags in D-Von. Big Show comes off the ropes and lands a flying double clothesline, sending both Dudz out. Tag into Spike, and Big Show presses Spike and tosses him onto his Brothers. Stacy hops onto the ramp, and Spike gets distracted, and the Dudz regain control. Bubba smacks her ass for her efforts. Bubba is back in, and he works on Spike. Flying nut buster on Spike, and D-Von is back in. D-Von irish whips the hell outta Spike into the corner. Bubba misses a few ass splash attempts, and Show and D-Von tag in. Show dominates, then Spike heads to the top, and uses Show’s shoulders to land a flying splash on D-Von. Spike covers, but Bubba puts D-Von’s foot on the rope. Show gets taken out, 3D on Spike… Ballgame.
Winners, and still Champs: Dudz

The Dudz set up a table in front of the ramp, then hop back in and catapult Spike over the top rope and onto the table! Ouch…

Commercials…

Argh… DDP. The crowd pops… what the hell??? He talks about Kurt Angle… DDP’s promos just mess with my brain… Got a mixed reaction from the crowd… mostly boos.

Recap of the brewing Y2J/Rock feud. I don’t know why… but I enjoyed their confrontation backstage… it was kinda old school.

Now we see earlier today Rock and Y2J talking things over, supposedly working things out…

Shane and Steph come into Austin’s locker room. The siblings want to reward RVD for his efforts last Thursday. Jericho Vs RVD tonight, the winner fights The Rock for the WCW Title at No Mercy! That’s pretty kickass…

Commercials…

Edge and Jericho talk it up. Jericho is ready for his challenge.

IT’S KIDMAN!!!

WCW Cruiserweight Title Match
Kidman Vs X-Pac
The two jockey for position, then Kidman connects with a hurricanrana. Now Kidman lands another, and covers for two. X-Pac launches Kidman into the steel post and Kidman falls to the outside. We’re back in now, and X-Pac lands a kick on Kidman to a coarse of boos. X-Pac goes to the top, but Kidman dropkicks him on his way down. Kidman lands an insiguri, and covers for two. Kidman lands a sit down powerbomb. Kidman heads to the top, but X-Pac trips him up. Bronco buster on Kidman… sorry, I refuse to capitalize that move… Kidman powerbombs X-Pac and covers for two. X-Factor by X-Pac, covers, and Kidman gets the foot on the rope. Kidman reverses a powerbomb into a face buster, then covers for two. Nice move. X-Pac goes to the top, but Kidman catches him, turns forward, and launches X-Pac face first into a powerbomb like maneuver and Kidman picks up the win. That was really an awesome move, couldn’t even really explain it.
Winner, and NEW Champ: Billy Kidman

RVD and Shane talk… nothing special…

Commercials… Go away Greyhound dog!!! Damn that thing scares me!

Y2J1 Vs RV f’n D
RVD tries for a kick, but Jericho beats him to it with a kick to the head. RVD hops up onto Jericho then catapults him… damn. ”RVD” chant from the crowd. Jericho tries for his middle rope splash while RVD is on the apron, but RVD ducks. Jericho is busted open again already. We’re back in the ring now. RVD goes to the top, and lands a kick to Jericho’s chest. Cover by RVD for a two count. Jericho tosses RVD into the steel pole between the turnbuckles a couple times. Nice shoulder breaker by Jericho, cover, and RVD kicks out. WOOOOOO chops by Jericho. Jericho tries for a Lionsault, but RVD gets the knees up. RVD goes for the ***** frog splash, but Jericho gets his knees up on him. The crowd chants for Y2J. RVD lands a kick followed by rolling thunder. Cover by RVD for two. RVD tries for a hurricanrana, but Jericho holds him and applies the Walls. RVD reaches the ropes. Now RVD mistakenly knocks out the ref. Lionsault by Jericho, and he covers but no ref. Now RVD lands a kick followed by a hard splash. He covers, but no ref. Both are on the top now, and Jericho goes for a back suplex off the top, and here comes Austin. Jericho ducks and Austin lands a chair shot on RVD. Y2J covers and he picks up the win.
Winner, and #1 WCW Title contender: Jericho

RVD starts yelling at Austin, and Austin grabs a mic. Austin calls for every single member of the Alliance to come down to the ring. He says he wants them down to witness what’s going to happen. Austin climbs to the apron!!! OH MY GOD HE J-

Commercials… THE SUSPENSE!!!

Okay… we’re back and the Alliance is all here. Austin believes in giving credit where credit is due… and he says he has one man to thank… and that’s Shane McMahon. He hugs Shane and thanks him as RVD looks on. Austin asks RVD what he’s mad about. Austin talks for a while… and here’s MICK FOLEY!!! Foley announces that he’s the new Commissioner!!! Foley wants Angle Vs Regal tonight, and he taunts Regal. Regal accepts the match. You gotta be kidding me… Foley makes Austin Vs Angle at No Mercy… Ohhhhhh Foley makes it a triple threat match!!! Austin Vs Angle Vs… RVD!!! RVD accepts! Hell yeah! FOLEY RULES!!!!!!!!!!

Commercials… Local commercials are too damn funny… I ain’t lyin!

STAND BACK!!!

The Hurricane w/Mightily Hot Molly Vs ???
Heh… ring announcer forgot what title Hurricane had… He said “He is the WWF……………………. EUROPEAN Champion…”
He issues an open challenge for his title… and it’s… KANE!! Holy goodness!
Hurricane wonders why Kane, with his cool costume, and mask, why he isn’t a superhero like Hurricane. Hurricane offers his… super powers. Kane crushes his hand… and it’s on.
Hurricane is taking shots at Kane leaving no effect. Hurricane goes to the top, but Kane catches him. Hurricane tries to lift Kane, Kane gorilla press slams Hurricane. Now Kane lands a powerslam. Now Hurricane tries for a powerbomb, but Kane picks him up and powerbombs him instead… take my word for it, as not-possible as that doesn’t sound there. Uhm… here comes Booker and Test… they jump Kane, and Takers comes out and makes the save.
Winner: Nobody… Wassupwitdat???

Sucks to see a match end like that… Sucks like a fox.

Commercials…

Tazz Vs Maven!
Maven lands a nice dropkick to start the match! Maven is on fire!!! Maven goes for a moonsault!!! Tazz moves, but Maven executed that very nicely. Tazz works on Maven in the corner, but Maven fights back. Suplex by Tazz to gain control. Sleeper by Maven! Tazz locks in the Tazzmission… game over.
Winner: Tazz

Maven fires back with a huge clothesline knocking Tazz to the outside! Al Snow comes in and celebrates with Maven. Nice pop for Maven…

I’ll tell ya… Maven looks really good for just starting.

We see The Rock’s back…

Commercials…

Rock speaks… Y2J steps in, and talks about how huge this match is going to be. They shake hands, and Jericho walks off and bumps into Rock. The Rock says that he has no idea how huge it will be… and he walks off. Interesting… Seano likey…

Commercials…

Regal Vs ANGLE RULES!!!
Angle races into the ring and lands a quick belly to belly! Then another! Angle tosses Regal to the outside. WOOOOOOOOOOO chops by Angle! Crowd chants “USA” as Regal slams Regal into the announce booth. Wow… Regal just tosses Angle into the ropes from the outside and Angle bounces off and goes down pretty hard. That was interesting. We’re back inside now, and Angle tries for a quick rollup and gets a two count. Angle lands a series of german suplexes, the second one, Regal’s head clipped the bottom rope. Angle Slam! Here comes the Alliance! Raven goes down! Then Awesome… the Kanyon… then Credible! We see Regal at the top of the ramp looking pissed, and Angle’s music hits as we fade…

Alright… I think this is a good night to introduce a new feature to my reports. It’s time to unveil…

The Bean Pole

Quick Description: From this show on… I will end my report with The Bean Pole. Which will be my overall view and rating on the night’s show. So here goes the first edition…

The Bean Pole
This was one of the better shows I’ve seen since WCW was first coming into the fold. Foley returned, plenty of good wrestling, Kidman returns and gets some gold, and plenty more. Just a very solid two hours there. A couple matches ended abruptly which is never a good thing… but it’s a small price to pay for all we saw tonight. Everything has been set up very well for No Mercy and the card looks very solid all of the sudden. Excellent show tonight…
