Fightful and Sean Ross Sapp recently interviewed AEW signee Adam Page, who discussed some various topics. Below are some highlights.

Adam Page on his preference for the 20×20 size rings: “I can’t speak for everybody, but I know I like the 20×20 more than anything I’ve ever wrestled in. I thought they seemed way too big until I went on a couple of tours over in Japan, and came home and the ring just felt way too small. I’m partial to a bigger ring.”

Page on still wanting to wrestle in Madison Square Garden: “I gotta be honest, I’d love to wrestle in Madison Square Garden one day. For a long time, I thought it would be something I would do, coming up here soon. Turns out not the case, so I would like the chance to wrestle there on my own terms, when All Elite Wrestling is the draw. I’d like to go back to Japan and wrestle in some of those buildings again. Korakuen Hall is probably my favorite building to wrestle in. The Budokan was really cool to be in.”

Page on the comedic Being the Elite shows vs. the more serious Road to Double or Nothing videos: “I love them both, and I think that’s something we do well. BTE is what it is, and everyone knows what that is at this point. Road To is a little more realistic, a little more down to earth. That’s good, too. People want to see some of those genuine moments and feelings as we build towards the show. In my mind, I hope when All Elite gets moving, I hope it’s a combination of both. Wrestling is the ultimate circus and variety show. It’s a made up universe, so there’s no reason something silly couldn’t exist in that universe. Ultimately, I think All Elite Wrestling will be more sports-centered, but I want to keep some of that humor.”
