– The anonymous WrestleVotes Twitter account is claiming that AEW has apparently made an “outstanding” offer to a current, big time WWE Superstar. The account doesn’t indicate who it is. You can check out those tweets below.

Per WrestleVotes, “AEW has made an ‘outstanding’ offer to a current, big time WWE Superstar. An offer that is almost too good to turn down.” When pushed by Twitter comments on who it could be, the account responded, “I’m not releasing the name, stop asking. Once the offer is accepted or declined, I’m sure your savior Meltz will have the details you all crave.”

Regardless of the unnecessary dig at Dave Meltzer and The Wrestling Observer, the WrestleVotes account has correctly broken stories in the past, such as WWE returning to dual-branded pay-per-view events last year. However, the WrestleVotes account did claim there was a big surprise in store for this year’s Royal Rumble. The account would later claim that Dean Ambrose revealing he intended to leave WWE later this year changed the plans for the surprise.

As previously reported, Dean Ambrose put in his notice that he intends to leave WWE when his contract expires after WrestleMania. Also, WWE later confirmed the news.

As previously reported, former WWE World champion AJ Styles has a WWE contract that’s slated to expire in April. He then personally denied a story that he had re-upped with WWE with a deal that would keep him in the company for the “foreseeable future.” Additionally, AEW did manage to sign Chris Jericho to a long-term deal, after Chris Jericho previously said he wouldn’t work with any promotion in the US other than WWE.
