AEW Stars Comment on Rampage Victory Over WWE SmackDown in Head-to-Head Ratings
– As previously noted, AEW Rampage ran head-to-head against the supersized edition of WWE SmackDown on FS1 last Friday for half an hour. During the half-hour period, with Rampage drawing a 0.25 rating in the P18-49 key demo versus a 0.218 rating for SmackDown. AEW President Tony Khan has already chimed in on the news, but since it was released, other AEW talents are also weighing in.
AEW EVPs and tag team The Young Bucks (Matt & Nick Jackson) updated their Twitter bio yesterday to read, “Another one for the good guys.”
Meanwhile, Chris Jericho also tweeted about Ruby Soho, since the start of the Soho vs. The Bunny mach on Rampage tying the rating with the Brock Lesnar vs. Roman Reigns contract signing in the key demo. Jericho wrote, “Ruby should meet Roman at the club…” The Bunny and Soho also shared some simple gif tweets to weigh in.
Brian Cage also commented on the development via his socials. For last Friday’s shows, AEW Rampage averaged 603,000 viewers, while WWE SmackDown outdrew Rampage in total viewership with 878,000 viewers.
