AJ Styles Retains US Title Over Humberto Carrillo at Crown Jewel (Pics, Video)
– As previously reported, Humberto Carrillo won a battle royal earlier today at Crown Jewel to earn a US title shot at champ AJ Styles later in the show. Unfortunately for Carrillo, he was not able to overcome AJ Styles to capture the belt.
Styles won the match after nailing Carrillo with the flying forearm. You can also check out some images and short clips from the match posted by WWE on Twitter below.
Overall, it’s been a good night for The O.C. Earlier in the show, Styles’ stablemates, Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson, won the Tag Team Turmoil Match to capture the World Cup, which WWE previously stated would make the winners the best tag team in the world.
