AJ Styles Says WWE Initially Didn’t Want To Sign Gallows And Anderson
March 24, 2018 | Posted by
In an interview with Lilian Garcia’s Chasing Glory podcast (via SportsKeeda), AJ Styles revealed that WWE initially didn’t want to sign Luke Gallows or Karl Anderson, and only did so at his insistence. The three were part of the Bullet Club together in New Japan before leaving the same time. AJ Styles made his debut at the 2016 Royal Rumble, followed by Gallows and Anderson soon after.
Styles was the preferred wrestler of the three, but when he kept asking WWE to sign his friends as well, they finally gave in.
