– Al Snow discussed Matt Cappotelli’s reaction back in 2005 to being diagnosis with a brain tumor while competing in OVW. Snow spoke with WDRB for the article about the former Tough Enough winner dealing with the return of the cancer since the summer.

Snow told the site that he recalled the moment that Cappotelli was forced to go to the hospital due to the symptoms from his tumor. “He begged me not to go,” Snow said. “I remember him sobbing. He didn’t want [the WWE opportunity] to be taken away from him again.”

Cappotelli said that he’s glad he went though, telling the site, “If I hadn’t gone to the hospital that night, who knows how long (the tumor) would have gone unnoticed.”

On a related note, we noted in the last report that Cappotelli was using an Optune, which sends pulses to the brain to stop the cancer sells from dividing as they usually do and stops it from growing. Cappotelli posted the following picture back in August of himself wearing the Optune:

On behalf of 411, our best wishes to Cappotelli as he fights the disease.
