Alexa Bliss and Sasha Banks Hoping For A Women’s Royal Rumble
In an interview with Corey Graves for WWE’s Straight to the Source, Alexa Bliss and Sasha Banks spoke about the possibility of a women’s Royal Rumble, as well as having the first women’s match in United Arab Emirates.
Bliss said of competing in UAE: “I was so nervous, because you don’t really know what to expect. The first-ever women’s championship match in Abu Dhabi, we’ve never been there, we don’t know how the crowd is, if they would accept us, if they would cheer for us.”
Banks added that she was in tears before the match, saying it’s an honor to be a role model for young girls at the event. Bliss said it was more than a match and more of a cultural achievement.
The two said that a Women’s Royal Rumble would be great as there are enough women on the roster to make it happen.
