Backstage Update on Andrade Having a Lot of Backing in WWE

– During today’s edition of The Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer commented on the Fatal 4-Way match that took place this week on Smackdown Live. The match saw Andrade get a pinfall on WWE Intercontinental champion Finn Balor in order to win the match that also featured Ali and Randy Orton. According to Meltzer, there’s a lot of backing in WWE right now for Andrade as a character.

Additionally, Meltzer expects that Andrade vs. Finn Balor will continue as a feud after Money in the Bank for the Intercontinental Championship. Andrade and Finn Balor are both part of the men’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match set for later this Sunday at the MITB event.

Money in the Bank 2019 set for Sunday, May 19. The event will be held at the XL Center in Hartford, Connecticut. The card will be broadcast live on the WWE Network.
