– Lucha Underground’s Angelico recently spoke with The Roman Show, here are the highlights…

On Trios Wrestling Becoming Popular in the US : “It’s more difficult in some ways and fun in some ways,” he said. “I look at it as a plus. Instead of having four you have six wrestlers. More activity comes out of six than four people. It’s non-stop action.”

On Training at a South African Facility Booker T Was Affiliated With: “I don’t know how much a role [Booker T] had. He was never there. They had the same facility he had in America,” he said. “It was like a sister school. It was opened for six months. Wrestling is not as popular like in America. It didn’t last long.” “You can get to a certain level but if you want to kick it up to another level you need to get more experience with people who have more than you.”

On Training With Ultimo Dragon: “That was amazing,” he said. “I met him in a European tour. We trained and lived in a dojo. At midnight we would get in the ring. He wasn’t too much involved in the training. He gave real advice. He would get in the ring but he watched us from the side.”
