On the latest episode of The ARN Show, Arn Anderson talked about sports athletes getting into pro wrestling and more. You can check out some highlights below:

Arn Anderson on Miss Elizabeth’s return to wrestling in WCW: “They kept it quiet during the day, obviously. And she’s just a — quite the lady. She always was just really a nice, soft-spoken person. And I mean, she really was Miss Elizabeth. She was really a nice person.”

On Kevin Greene in WCW: “Well I mean, he’s a wild man. He fit being involved in professional wrestling. I don’t think it was much of a stretch, to be honest with you. There’s linebackers and defensive ends that are headhunters, like Mongo. You know, anything involving fighting, they can amend whatever they have spirit-wise and make it work for them in that scenario, because they’re headhunters.”

On sports athletes getting into pro wrestling: “We’re fans of theirs. They’re fans of ours, it’s a good mix. But much respect — if you don’t respect the UFC guys and what they bring to the table and what their training looks like on a daily basis. These guys, man they half-kill each other, got to respect that. And then they try — you know, they step through the ropes. They think it’s going to be something maybe less. Than the first time they take a big bump, they go, ‘Holy sh– oh, let’s back up here a minute.’ So there’s a mutual respect.”
