Backstage Note on ‘Newcomers’ Rumored for Tomorrow’s AEW Dynamite
– As previously reported, NJPW wrestler Zack Sabre Jr. spoke at Dominion last week on wanting to face Bryan Danielson at this month’s Forbidden Door show. Dave Meltzer reported some additional details on tomorrow’s AEW Dynamite and who might appear on today’s Wrestling Observer Radio.
Currently, the recently injured Danielson is scheduled to appear on tomorrow’s Dynamite, where he will address his status for both Forbidden Door and Blood and Guts. According to Meltzer, while he hasn’t been told that Sabre will be appearing on tomorrow’s show, Meltzer reported that “some newcomers” will be appearing on tomorrow’s show. Sabre Jr. appears to be available to show up tomorrow night, as he missed today’s New Japan Road event at Korakuen Hall, so he’d be free to appear on Dynamite this week.
AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door is scheduled for Sunday, June 26 at the United Center in Chicago, Illinois. It will be broadcast live on pay-per-view. AEW Dynamite is set for tomorrow at the UW-Milwaukee Panther Arena in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. It will be broadcast live on TBS at 8:00 pm EST.
