Fightful Select has several backstage notes for tonight’s episode of AEW Dynamite, which includes the AEW debut of Mark Briscoe.

– RJ City is around to film episodes of his ‘Hey! EW’ show.

– Brody King and Ethan Page had a meet & greet at Toy Vomit Tuesday. Meanwhile, Best Friends and Orange Cassidy were at KSBar taking photos with fans.

– Several wrestlers are in town that are not currently booked for the show.

– AEW was happy with Billie Starkz’ AEW Dark matches and she will likely return soon.

– Some names were brought in at the last minute when it was announced Mark Briscoe would appear. Talent were said to be ‘overjoyed’ with the news that he would be allowed on the show. They believe that Briscoe could have been on the show by himself before Jay’s passing, but that is not the case. However, the new people in charge of Warner Bros. Discovery were said to be ‘helpful’ in Tony Khan’s efforts to get Briscoe on the show.
