Backstage Notes From Last Night’s WWE Raw, KOTR & QOTR Matches at House Shows

– Fightful Select has some details on the ongoing King of the Ring and Queen of the Ring tournaments, which continued last night on WWE Raw. There were multiple first-round matchups from the tournament that were held over the weekend at WWE Supershow live events. WWE reportedly ran the tournament matches on live events so the tournaments wouldn’t oversaturate the TV product and to help with ticket sales for the house shows.

– Other WWE talents who were drafted to the Raw roster during the 2024 WWE Draft were reportedly at the show last night, but they were not used on TV.

– Fightful Select also reports that the Main Event matches that were filmed last night were changed throughout the day. Also, WWE is still filming Speed matches before Raw TV events.
