WWE News: Backstage Update On Daniel Bryan After Last Night’s Smackdown, The Good Brothers Comment on Return, Naomi Comments on Title Match With Asuka
– Mustafa Ali pinned Daniel Bryan in the main event of last night’s WWE Smackdown. Ali pinned him with the imploding 450, and landed hard with his knees on Bryan’s chest. Ali could be heard checking on Bryan immediately. According to Fightful, Bryan was adamant in saying that he was okay as he went through the curtain. Roughly 30 minutes after the incident, Bryan was back in front of the crowd, taping a segment for next week’s Smackdown.

– Naomi got a title shot against Asuka on last night’s WWE Smackdown. She commented in the below video (via Wrestling Inc)…
“Asuka is my friend and to me, Asuka is one of the best, as well as Becky and Charlotte. But I’m just as good as those women and I want to be in that conversation, I want to be in those matches, and I’m not sitting in the back anymore. Whenever I see an opportunity, from here on out, I’m going to do what I’ve got to do and take it. And this doesn’t change anything between me and Asuka, and our friendship. It’s all about love and respect. She gave me an amazing match tonight and I’m thankful. I learned a lot, and this won’t be my last shot at the title. I can guarantee that.”
