Backstage Update on Plans for Brock Lesnar at WWE Elimination Chamber
– According to a Wrestling Observer Daily Update from Dave Meltzer this week, WWE Superstar Brock Lesnar is scheduled to be on this year’s WWE Elimination Chamber 2023 event. At this point, Lesnar is not slated to compete in the Chamber match, but he is supposed to have a match at the event.
Meltzer reported today on Wrestling Observer Radio that he only thing he was told was that Lesnar is not facing Gunther at WrestleMania. So, that could mean Lesnar could face Gunther somewhere else, such as Elimination Chamber.
WWE has teased Brock Lesnar vs. Gunther before, but Lesnar still appears to have unsettled issues with Lashley at the moment, with Lesnar recently costing Lashley a shot at the US Title. Also, Lashley eliminated Lesnar from the men’s Royal Rumble Match last Saturday.
WWE has not yet announced Lesnar for Elimination Chamber, or who he will be facing at the event, along with his potential opponent for WrestleMania 39. WWE Elimination Chamber is scheduled for February 18 at the Bell Centre in Montreal, Quebec. The premium live event will be broadcast live on Peacock in the US and the WWE Network everywhere else.
