Being the Elite Recap: Amount of Tickets Sold For Boston and Philly AEW Events Revealed

August 19, 2019 | Posted by Joseph Lee

The Young Bucks have released a new episode of Being the Elite, which features more of the usual skits, as well as some interesting AEW information. In addition to announcing where the next two TNT shows will take place, it was also revealed how many tickets were sold for the Boston and Philadelphia shows. Matt Jackson announced that they sold 9,000 tickets for the show in Philadelphia in only 22 minutes, while they sold 6,000 for Boston in 57 minutes. The Boston show took longer because Ticketmaster’s service slowed down. Here are more highlights:

– SCU hate Canada so much that Christopher Daniels doesn’t even want to do a bit about it.

– Sammy Guevara and Brandon Cutler are still feuding, sort of. This time Guevara throws Cutler’s passport in the trash after the two appear to bond for most of the video.

– The Young Bucks call the recent sellouts ‘humbling’. They also said they’ve been studying lucha libre and trying to learn from past mistakes heading into their ladder match with the Lucha Bros at All Out.

– Orange Cassidy shows up and literally does nothing.

– Nick Jackson says AEW will have a video game. Matt Jackson thinks besides the ladder match, Chris Jericho vs. Hangman Page will steal the show at All Out.

– Cody sings ‘Take Me Home, Country Roads’ by John Denver.
