Big Show Reportedly Missed WrestleMania & Greatest Royal Rumble Due to New Injury

– A new report from Wrestling Observer Radio says that Big Show didn’t appear at WrestleMania 34 and Greatest Royal Rumble due to a new injury. The report says that WWE wanted Big Show in the fifty-man Royal Rumble match at last Friday’s Saudi Arabia show in particular, but that he suffered a new injury three weeks ago while coming back from his hip surgery.

Big Show last appeared in the ring in September of last year, where he was written out through a post-steel cage match attack by Braun Strowman. That allowed him to get the hip surgery and he has been working to come back since. The severity of Show’s latest injury isn’t known, only that it was significant enough to keep him off the PPVs. He had said back in March that he would be back in time for WrestleMania.
