– Big Show was a guest on Steve Austin’s Steve Austin show and discussed his new WWE deal, missing the Greatest Royal Rumble and more. You can listen to a clip of the appearance below, in which Show says that he has a new three-year deal which allows him to work a more limited schedule that will include work as a Brand Ambassador.

Show also talked about his recovery from hip surgery and how he received an infection that was revealed by hardness around a surgical scar. The infection broke open and had to be cut, which meant that he had to tell Vince McMahon and Triple H that he wasn’t able to work the Greatest Royal Rumble as scheduled due to a 3.5 centimeter hole in his leg. Show said he felt better a few days later and was going to head to Jeddah, Saudi Arabia but that Triple H told him to stay home.

Speaking of his new schedule, Show said (per Pro Wrestling Sheet), “There’s not a lot of pressure on me to have to be there every week and get people over or carry two or three segments. I can kind of show up, help the younger guys here and there, and I get to pursue outside projects that are important to me.”
