Various News: Bobby Roode Says His Dream WrestleMania 35 Match Would be Against The Revival, Chris Jericho Hosting Podcast Event With Dory Funk Jr.

– Sky Sports recently interviewed WWE Superstar and Raw tag team champion Bobby Roode. Below is an excerpt with Bobby Roode sharing his thoughts on the subject:

“I would love to have that opportunity to walk down that aisle a WrestleMania in a match for the Raw tag team championships. In recent weeks we’ve had some really good matches against The Revival. I’d hate to give them another reason to make them think they’re better than they are, but they are a tremendous tag team. With the chemistry that we have together, with the right circumstances at WrestleMania I think we could blow the doors off that place. That would be amazing.”

– Per Ocala.com, new member of the AEW roster Chris Jericho is going to host a meet-and-greet with fans and record an episode of his Talk Is Jericho podcast with WWE Hall of Famer Dory Funk Jr. in Ocala, Florida this Saturday. Jericho will also be visiting Funk’s school for a charity event. Tickets for the event will be $45.

Speaking on the event, Jericho stated: “I have a little bit of a wish list of the people I wanted to have on the show for a long time, and Dory Funk Jr. is near the top of the list because not only is he one of the greatest champions of all time, he also has such a great memory for the stories about starting out in the ’60s and ’70s. He is definitely one of the pioneers of wrestling.”

Funk also praised Jericho ahead of the event, stating, “Chris Jericho has done a phenomenal job becoming a box office attraction here in the United States and in Japan — one of the most challenging places to work in the world.”
