Booker T Doesn’t Think WWE Will Ever Re-Hire The Velveteen Dream
In the latest episode of his Hall of Fame podcast (via Wrestling Inc), Booker T spoke about whether or not he thinks the WWE will ever re-hire the Velveteen Dream. Dream was released last year, after rumors of unprofessional behavior and incidents with people backstage. He was also accused of sexual misconduct back in 2020, but WWE ran an internal investigation and he eventually returned to TV. However, Booker doesn’t think he will be back again.
He said: “No. I do not. [Brad Gilmore always says] that you could put yourself where something could happen and it could be bad. Sometimes, you can never find your way back from it and I think Velveteen Dream is going to be one of those guys that would’ve had a hell of a career if. That’s the end of that story.“
