Botched!: Seth And Dean Struggling, Shane’s Confusion, More

Hi, hello & welcome to the column that nobody in pro wrestling wants to be in, Botched! Kind of a light week in the world of wrestling with no major shows and everybody building to things down the line. Let’s see if we still can’t find some foolishness to enjoy over the weekend.

1. Rollins Sneaks Up On Ambrose

It seems like Seth Rollins & Dean Ambrose end up in this column every week due to some sort of interaction. They’re hugging before they should. They’re missing fist bumps. And this week, 20 seconds into the video, Dean backed into Seth during their entrance.

I’m starting to think that none of these things are botches at all. Dean & Seth are portraying two dear old friends that have hated each other for so long than even when they try it’s tough to get back on the same page. They try & try, but things just keep happening that make it not quite like it used to be. Dean was backing right into Seth to continue the story.

This is deep stuff.

2. Shane Loses His Train Of Thought

Shane McMahon was pretty upset with Kevin Owens on Tuesday night. So upset that he ended up getting himself suspended as Commissioner of SmackDown Live. Don’t talk about the man’s kids. And don’t tell him that he sucks, like some fan did at 2:10 in the video.

Poor Shane totally lost track of what he was saying. You’d think that as a McMahon he’d be used to angry fans yelling that he sucks, but when you’re not expecting it, it can take a toll on you.

3. Shane Attacks KO

The fun didn’t stop there, no sir. Shane started throwing punches 4 minutes into this video!

There’s a little-known Botched! rule that anytime Shane throws punches, they have to be included in the column. I sincerely hope this suspension doesn’t last long, as Shane McMahon doing physical things on SmackDown Live is great for my business.

4. Ariya’s Changed Since The Last Time I Saw Him

To be perfectly honest, 205 Live has fallen out of my show rotation. It seems like I can get by with just seeing the cruiserweights on Raw, and Enzo Amore going to the division isn’t exactly a draw for me. So it’s been a little while since I’ve seen Ariya Daivari.

Whoops. TJP wrestled Daivari this week, so they probably changed the order of entrances at the last moment for some reason and didn’t tell the graphics guy. These things happen.

5. Kinda Sums Up The Week, Really

Let’s be real, there isn’t much going wrong in the wrestling world compared to the hurricanes, floods, fires & earthquakes we’re fighting through these days. Let’s close with a botch that seems horrifying when we do it, but really doesn’t matter to anybody else.

Thanks for reading! If you see (or hear) anything wrong in the world of wrestling, let me know via Twitter or e-mail at [email protected]. Have a good weekend!
