Brandi Rhodes Defends AEW as Family-Friendly
– Brandi Rhodes responded to criticism on Twitter that All Elite Wrestling was sending mixed messages about its family-friendly atmosphere. A fan called Brandi out on Twitter after she shared new merchandise for a stuffed animal of Pharoah, the Rhodes’ family dog, saying that it is “one of the most schizophrenic wrestling promotions I have ever encountered” for promoting adult-oriented wrestlers like Joey Ryan and deathmatch wrestlers while making merchandise “for small children.”
That led to Rhodes responding, and then a back-and-forth as you can see below:
AEW is one of the most schizophrenic wrestling promotions I have ever encountered.
Who’s it aimed at?
It’s not a family friendly promotion, they do most their promotional work in Bar wrestling, they sign adult orientated wrestlers but produce merch for small children. https://t.co/7ugBvivoSK— Anita (@PigReview) March 15, 2019
If by schizophrenic you mean inclusive, then yes. But inclusive is also family friendly, my friend 😊 https://t.co/dKmQSJKBpa

Ok so I’m welcome to bring my 8 & 11 year old daughter to double or nothing? I was under the impression from the promotion you had done with Bar Wrestling that it would be more adult orientated. You did have hangman page being dick flipped by Joey Ryan after all.

You can absolutely bring your 8 year old to our shows. They will be in great company with all of the other kids in attendance.
