In a recent interview with 99.9 KISW in Seattle, Braun Strowman discussed his thoughts on WWE ThunderDome, the biggest difference performing without fans in attendance, and much more. You can read his comments below.

Braun Strowman on working inside WWE ThunderDome: “Honestly, when I flip the switch and walk through that curtain and turn the monster on, you almost get the feeling that the people are there with the sound dubbed in and the reactions on everyone’s faces. It was a nice addition to what we had done throughout the beginning of all of this at the Performance Center and then moving to Amway and virtually allowing our fans to get back in the building. I think not only for us the wrestlers getting excited to see the fans and the fans’ reactions, but the fans get to see themselves on TV…….I can remember when I was younger, a couple of opportunities to be in the background and going home and watching it and seeing myself on TV. That was cool. So having that opportunity to brag to your friends ‘Hey there I am sitting behind Braun Strowman’s giant butt while he’s kicking the crap out of Roman Reigns on Friday Night SmackDown.'”

On the biggest difference performing without fans in attendance: “I feel like we’ve had to step up a little bit more because you don’t have that audience and that reaction in the background to hide behind when you mess up on a line or you slip here or there. I feel like we’re under a little bit more of a microscope than before with everybody being at home watching the replays and everything and the YouTube playbacks and all the social media. We’ve had to step up and tighten everything up because you don’t have those 25,000 people going nuts in the background and you get caught up and people are paying attention to that. So at the end of the day, it’s made us all refine ourselves and become better performers.”
