WWE News: Brock Lesnar Set For Several WWE Appearances, Kofi Kingston On Getting Opportunities, Bret Hart Pays Tribute To Pedro Morales
– PWInsider reports that Brock Lesnar is scheduled for several appearances with WWE on the road to Wrestlemania 35. His next appearance is on the February 25th episode of RAW, which is also themed as Ric Flair’s 70th birthday party, at the State Farm Arena in Atlanta, GA. He is also scheduled for March 18 (AllState Arena in Chicago, IL) and April 1 (Capitol One Arena in Washington, DC).
– After he competed for over an hour in a gauntlet match last night on Smackdown Live, Kofi Kingston spoke about making the most of his opportunities heading into Elimination Chamber on Sunday.
He said: “These opportunities are slim. Sunday at Elimination Chamber I’ve got to go all out, you know what I’m saying. Leave nothing out there, leave it all on the field, leave it all in the ring, you understand? I just feel like it has to be now. I’ve been waiting too long. I’ve worked too hard. It’s been a long time. This has to be it. It has to be it.”
– Bret Hart paid tribute to Pedro Morales on Twitter after the WWE Hall of Famer passed away:
Goodbye to a great friend. One of the kindest, wisest wrestlers I ever knew. When I first started in WWE, he told me: “You can’t stop talent.” I followed those words for the rest of my career. RIP Pedro Morales
