Bully Ray Critiques Wrestling Media After Return of Ron Killings to WWE, Believes Whole Situation Was a Work

– During a recent edition of Busted Open Radio, WWE Hall of Famers Bully Ray and Mark Henry discussed the shocking return of R-Truth, aka Ron Killings, last Saturday at WWE Money in the Bank. Both former WWE Superstars supported the idea that the situation was a “work,” with Bully Ray noting that none of the wrestling media knew anything about R-Truth’s return before it happened, but multiple reports on his return popped up after the fact. Below are some highlights (via WrestlingInc.com):
Bully Ray on R-Truth’s return at WWE Money in the Bank: “This is my problem with the whole situation: before R-Truth runs in at Money in the Bank, nobody knows a frickin’ thing. There’s not one ounce of information out there about the whole situation. All of a sudden, the run-in happens, and every dirt sheet and their mother has some kind of piece of information on this.”
Mark Henry on his belief that Truth had something planned: “Truth never responded to me about the money, he never responded to my team in the U.K. about joining our tour. So he knew something, obviously. … Because if somebody offered me money, I’m like, ‘Well, let’s talk.’ It ended with the offer.”
As noted, during the post-show press conference for WWE Money in the Bank, when Paul “Triple H” Levesque was asked about R-Truth’s return, he stated, “Enjoying the show? All part of the show, man.”
During last night’s Raw, Ron Killings cut off his braids and declared that he’s Ron Killings from here on out.
