Cathy Kelley Discusses Why She Decided to Leave WWE, What She Learned From Her Time There
On the latest edition of Better Together with Maria Menounos, Cathy Kelley discussed why she decided to leave WWE. Highlights are below.
On what she learned from her time at WWE: “I think I learned so much in my years that I was in Los Angeles producing my own content to being at WWE the last few years and really learning how to host something, because before I was doing these freeform podcast shows or doing videos that I had written myself. So to learn how to do things on the fly, to learn how to retain information with very little time, those are things I wouldn’t learn otherwise.”
On why she decided to leave WWE: “I want to create and be an executive producer on a show one day, I want to write a book, I want to write a screenplay, I want to continue to grow as a host, get into acting, there’s so many things that I want to do, and I think especially with the WWE schedule, it’s so time-consuming because you are traveling so much, being me, I wanted to do everything so I wanted to work as much as possible, which also meant being away from Los Angeles which I just moved to, and that wouldn’t have allowed me to continue to do the other things or work on the other things that I wanted to do.”
