Chad Gable Wants To Remind Everyone He’s a Capable Singles Wrestler, Talks WWE Pairing With Otis

Chad Gable was recently interviewed on WWE El Brunch, and the current SmackDown superstar discussed a variety of topics, including the goals for his tag team with Otis, his ability as a singles wrestler, and much more. Here’s what Gable had to say (via Fightful):

Chad Gable on his team with Otis: “So far, we’ve shown glimpses of what we can do as a tag team, but it’s been start and stop so people haven’t gotten the full vision or feel of what we’re going to do. We both have intentions to win the tag team championships on SmackDown. That’s our goal. We’re going to do it. It’s not a matter of ‘if,’ it’s a matter of ‘when.’ We have these moments of brilliance where we have this momentum and you can see how dangerous (we are). We just sent the Street Profits packing and injured them. Those are former tag team champions that we are putting out of commission. People can see how dangerous we are and we are going to win the tag team championships.”

On wanting to remind people that he can be a great singles wrestler: “Above and beyond that, my vision for the Alpha Academy is to churn out guys like myself and Otis to be individual champions. We’re not just limited to tag team and I’m not just limited to tag teams. I’m very proud of my record as a tag team champion and being a triple crown tag team champion, but I don’t want people to assume that I’m simply a tag team wrestler. They’ve also gotten to see moments like my run in King of the Ring and matches with guys like AJ Styles. Just throughout my career, you can see that I’m very capable as a singles wrestler. I have big goals as a singles wrestler. We want to take over the world as the Alpha Academy.”
