WWE knew well in advance that Chelsea Green would have to miss out on last night’s Raw show and made sure to lay the groundwork to cover her absence, according to a new Fightful Select report. Sources indicate Green has been waiting on the proper documentation to allow her to re-enter Canada for months now, and the company shot an angle where the talent got routed to Ottawa, Illinois rather than Ottawa, Canada in order to cover for her inability to legally attend and work the episode. Green was instead seen on Monday attending an NYC showing of her husband Matt Cardona’s musical The Last Match.
